Terms of Use

These Terms are a practical starting point for launch. They are not a substitute for legal advice tailored to your company and jurisdiction.

1. Agreement

By downloading, accessing, or using AM Ready (the “App”) or related websites on amready.app, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. The service

AM Ready helps you plan morning routines, adjust a specific day (including evening check-in for tomorrow), and receive reminders or alarms for steps you configure. Features may change as we improve the product.

AM Ready is a productivity tool. It is not a medical device, therapy service, or emergency response system. Do not rely on it as your only safeguard for medication, safety-critical tasks, or emergencies.

3. Accounts & eligibility

  • You may start as a guest on a device; some features (backup/restore) require an account.
  • You must be able to form a binding contract in your region (generally at least 13+, and older where required).
  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping sign-in methods secure.
  • Guest data stays on the device. If you lose the device without an account backup, we may not be able to restore your routine.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Access to AM Ready may require a paid subscription purchased through the Apple App Store. Prices, trial length, and renewal terms are shown in the App Store purchase sheet at the time of buy.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in Apple’s subscription settings at least 24 hours before the period ends (or as Apple’s rules then require).
  • Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via the Manage subscription link in the App.
  • Deleting your AM Ready account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel with Apple separately if you want billing to stop.
  • Refunds are handled under Apple’s policies.

5. AI & voice features

The assistant and speech-to-text features use third-party AI services. Outputs can be wrong, incomplete, or unexpected. You should review proposed schedule changes before applying them.

You agree not to use the assistant to generate or request unlawful content, or to attempt to disrupt the service. We may log assistant conversations to improve quality, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the App, probe or attack our systems, or bypass security or paywalls.
  • Reverse engineer the App except where local law allows.
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
  • Upload or send content you do not have the right to use.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the routines, checklist items, and messages you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve AM Ready (including AI processing and product-improvement logging described in the Privacy Policy).

8. Our rights

The App, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you—only a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App as allowed.

9. Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect reminder delivery (device settings, Focus modes, and permissions matter), or error-free AI suggestions.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50 — EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time and may delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we must do so for legal or security reasons. Provisions that should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of amready.app, without regard to conflict of law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country apply and cannot be waived.

If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Apple is not a party to these Terms between you and us regarding the App, except that Apple may enforce rules related to App Store distribution as a third-party beneficiary where applicable under Apple’s standard EULA framework.
